Runners in the Bathroom.

I'll be the first to admit my obsession with rugs. I just love how they can complete a room (and how cozy they feel under foot). But rugs can also be expensive (especially if you have larger rooms to fill). So today, I'm going to focus on the unsung heroes that are typically overlooked: runners (and how they can absolutely transform your bathroom).

Transforming a Den into the Sweetest Little Nursery.

As you know, I've been helping my friend, Tiziana, design a nursery for her baby girl who's due in June -- and it's been so much fun! Up until this point, I've only designed boys' nurseries (luck of the draw), so planning a room for a little girl was a new challenge. We used gray and light pink as our color palette and are so happy with how it turned out! Read on for additional details and to see photos of the nursery...

A Hoboken Gallery Wall.

I'm currently working on a really fun gallery wall for an apartment in Hoboken that I just can't wait to share! Gallery walls in general are usually tons of fun to put together (as you know, I hung my own gallery wall just a few weeks ago!) -- but it's even more exciting to work with someone who shares a similar taste in art and photography. Read on for a sneak peek at some of some of the art we're planning to include!

D.L.&Co. Candle Giveaway!

One of my favorite parts about living in Hoboken is the amazing boutique shopping that this wonderful city has to offer.  And, given my love for all things interior design (and candles!), one of my favorite stores in town is Luna Rosa. This uptown Washington Street store is packed with beautiful textiles and unique homegoods from local artists that you can't find anywhere else, so I never leave empty-handed.

And, since it's FRI-YAY, Luna Rosa and I have partnered to give one lucky reader one of my very favorite items -- a beautiful  D.L.&Co. candle! Read on details!

Master Bedroom Redesign.

While we've lived in our home for over two years, the master bedroom has remained the one semi-neglected room in our house (after all, I had to first focus my energy on our living room and then, of course, the nursery.... right??) Priorities...

We've slowly been adding some artwork, accessories, and other personal touches to make it even cozier and I hope to share an update of the redesigned room soon! In the meantime, read on to view the mood board I've created to help me envision the space's potential.

Living Room Shelfie.

When we first moved into our condo, we purchased this popular open shelving unit from Ikea (which was just recently discontinued) for our living room -- and I have to say, I've loved having it in our home! However, despite how versatile this piece is, it simply isn't baby-friendly. So, I'm now on the hunt for a sturdier replacement piece that will tie in nicely with the rest of our furniture while still providing adequate living room storage.

Crazy for Target's Rugs.

Lately, Target has totally been on point with its rug collection. Between collaborations with Nate Berkus, Safavieh, Threshold and Mudhut, there are more than enough fabulous rugs to fill any home (and to fit any budget).

Read on for my top picks (and the ones I would have already pulled the trigger on if only we had more bare floors...)

A Gray Safari Nursery.

This past week I've been helping my friend, Lynn, design a calm, gray and white nursery for her baby boy. Living in New York City and converting an office/guest room into a nursery is always a challenge, but I think we were able to come up with some really great ideas using pieces of furniture she already owns and a few accents to round out the space.
