Transforming a Den into the Sweetest Little Nursery.

As you know, I've been helping my friend, Tiziana, design a nursery for her baby girl who's due in June -- and it's been so much fun! Up until this point, I've only designed boys' nurseries (luck of the draw), so planning a room for a little girl was a new challenge. Nursery Closet Organization.

With the nursery complete, there remained just one thing left to tackle: the closet. So, we did a quick purge of the space and started from scratch. 

The first thing I purchased was an Ikea Kallax unit in white, to provide extra shelving and storage. I placed the unit on the ground inside the closet and added cute gray and white striped baskets from Land of Nod to transform the open shelving into "drawers."

A Gray Safari Nursery.

This past week I've been helping my friend, Lynn, design a calm, gray and white nursery for her baby boy. Living in New York City and converting an office/guest room into a nursery is always a challenge, but I think we were able to come up with some really great ideas using pieces of furniture she already owns and a few accents to round out the space.

Baby Pulman's Nursery Reveal.

It's November and my due date is officially 3 weeks away(!), which means that it's time to finally reveal the nursery that I designed for Baby Pulman! A few months ago, I shared an inspiration board that highlighted the color scheme and a few items I was considering for the room. In the end, I actually ended up sticking pretty closely to that original board, designing a modern nursery in shades of blue, green, gray, and white.
