Valentine's Day White Chocolates.

Making your own chocolates is surprisingly easy and with so many ways to customize them (think: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate, mint chocolate) and garnishes (nuts, sprinkles, fruit, etc.) the possibilities are endless!

Cinnamon Apple Cake.

This weekend we went apple-picking with friends, a tradition we started three years ago. We all grab the dogs, hop in the car, and drive over to Melick's Town Farm where we pick several pounds of apples (as well as pumpkins and gourds for the house). It's something we look forward to every October -- mainly because having so many apples around the house means we can cook and bake with them for weeks.

This past weekend, my family and four closest friends threw me a gorgeous baby shower in celebration of Baby Pulman. Every single detail, from the decorations and activities, to my favorite foods (burrata sandwiches and kale ceasar salad) and desserts (chocolate dipped pretzels and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies!), made the day so special.

The Perfect Salted Caramel Apple Pie.

The temperature has finally dropped and it's really starting to feel like Fall in NYC! Since apple season has officially arrived, what better way to celebrate than with a delicious apple pie? This recipe is inspired by Brooklyn-based pie shop, Four & Twenty Blackbirds, and kicks your traditional apple pie up a notch with homemade salted caramel sauce.
