My Baby Shower.

My Baby Shower.

Michelle Pulman

This past weekend, my family and four closest friends threw me a gorgeous baby shower in celebration of Baby Pulman. Every single detail, from the decorations and activities, to my favorite foods (burrata sandwiches and kale caesar salad) and desserts (chocolate dipped pretzels and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies!), made the day so special.

Two of my friends handled all of the decorations, which included everything from blue and white balloons and paper garland, to the cutest display of baby clothes. My other two friends planned the desserts and also made the most amazing specialty mocktails for me to enjoy: "Little Man Lemonade" and "Baby P-ineapple Mojito" (don't worry, there was also plenty of Prosecco and white wine for everyone else).

And, my sister made sure that guests remained entertained with fun activities. There was a station where people could design and stamp custom onesies, bibs and blankets (which everyone participated in). And perhaps my favorite activity: a basket full of Little Golden Books and a sign asking guests to choose their favorite book and write a short message on the inside cover for Baby Pulman. Seriously the cutest idea and such a special thing for us to read afterwards!

My mother and my in-laws planned an amazing spread of food (catered from Anthony David's in Hoboken) and also decorated the room beautifully with white roses, calla lillies, baby's breath and lilium. And, they surprised me at the end of the shower with the cutest custom cake from Carlo's Bakery (aka the "Cake Boss").

See below for photos from the day!
