"Porcelain" Lamp DIY.

A few years ago, I picked up a clear glass lamp at Homegoods for our living room. The lamp has a removable top, allowing you to fill it with whatever you want -- so I've had a lot of fun over the years placing different items and fillers inside the lamp.

Ikea Tarva Hack.

Ikea is truly one of my favorite places to shop. You can purchase everything from a solid wood chopping block and live jade plants, to faux sheepskin rugs (which we all know is a personal favorite of mine).

Apart from the usual candy and flowers, we don't have much going on in the way of Valentine's Day decorations. Most store-bought decorations I've seen are either really cheesy or too "red" for my taste.
