A Galentine's Day Gift Guide.

Believe it or not, Valentine's Day has always been a favorite holiday of mine ever since I was a kid. I loved making cards for everyone in my class, doing a craft, and (of course) getting and giving small gifts. It was never about a boyfriend; it was just about love and happiness.

Well, THANKFULLY, the holiday has only gotten better over the years, since now not only is Valentine's Day recognized -- but Galentine's Day is also a real thing. So in celebration of Galentine's Day, I've pulled together a gift guide for all of the important gals in your life:

1. Gilded Greetings Cheese Board (Anthropologie). A stunning cheese board that will bring a smile to both your friend and your kitchen.

2. Ivory Marble With Wood Frame (Target). Say it with me how: #Targetdoesitagain (and again and again). I mean, seriously? You had me at "marble and wood." Plus the price tag can't be beat.

3. Ice Mold/Wine Bottle Chiller (CB2). Maybe the coolest thing I've seen all year and the creative possibilities are endless! It's the gift that will keep on giving for years to come.

4. Nia Velvet Pillow Cover (Pottery Barn). I know, getting a friend a pillow cover sounds strange, but consider this: these decorative pillows are stunning, come in nearly every color under the sun, and can be personalized with just about anything. Add an embroidered initial, monogram, or even an "XO" and your friend's bed will be MADE.

5. Love is Love Mug (West Elm, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn). An adorable mug with an uplifting message. And, 50% of proceeds are donated to the Human Rights Campaign, America's largest civil rights organization working to end discrimination against LGBTQ people.
