Peel-and-Stick Accent Wall with Rocky Mountain Decals.

Good morning, friends! Today I wanted to share a fun little DIY that I worked on last week with the help of my friends at Rocky Mountain Decals.

Our entryway is essentially a small hallway connecting our front door to the mudroom. It’s not a lot of space to work with or to style, but I wanted to have some fun and allow this part of our home to really feel unique — which is why I decided that a small accent wall of wallpaper would be PERFECT! Here’s a look at the before:

The kind folks at Rocky Mountain Decals gifted me a few rolls of their Bloom wallpaper in the Dove (gray) colorway and let me tell you, it’s absolutely stunning!

There were so many beautiful patterns to choose from but I fell in love with the “Bloom“ in Dove because both the pattern and colorway compliments our home so well. It’s definitely a bold print but I feel like it’s perfect for our little space.

As soon as the wallpaper arrived, I got to work installing it. Since the paper is peel-and-stick, there’s no need to use wallpaper adhesive or any major tools. All you need is a pair of scissors, a level ruler, a sharp blade, and a smoother (which Rocky Mountain Decals actually gives to customers along with their purchase!). The wallpaper panels are labeled with numbers, which helps you to easily install them in order to ensure that the pattern lines up perfectly.

I’m not kidding you when I say that I was able to start and finish this wall in less than 30 minutes! The paper peels off of the backing easily, allowing you to smooth it onto your wall within minutes. And if something isn’t straight, you can pull the paper off and readjust as necessary. Anyone can do this project and it makes SUCH a big impact! Just look at how this wallpaper has transformed a boring nook in our home:

I’m posting a few more photos of the space on Instagram today and will also be sharing a video and reel to show you guys just how easy it is to install. Message me with any questions at all!! And a huge thank you again to Rocky Mountain Decals for this stunning wallpaper.
