Come See What's New in Our Living Room...

It’s been awhile since we’ve added a new piece of furniture to our living room (we’ve had our sofas for years!!). While the sofas are great, over time time we’ve found that we really do need a bit extra seating — especially when we have family staying with us. I toyed with adding an armchair… or two armchairs… or even a pair of ottomans. I tested a few pieces out but ultimately always moved them to other party of our house. Nothing felt right.

But then Castlery reached out and asked if I might be interested in collaborating with them on a piece of furniture. I went through their website (which, by the way, is full of gorgeous pieces!!) and fell in love with the Adams Armchair. Something I really love about Castlery is that you can customize their pieces and most ship pretty quickly. This particular chair is available in five different fabric options and you can also choose from three leg finishes.

I went with the Dove Gray, which is a really beautiful light gray woven fabric and complements our cream sofas perfectly. For the legs, I loved the touch of brass so went in that direction. The chair arrived about two weeks later and I couldn’t be happier with it!!

It fits in perfectly, right?! The best part about this chair (other than how beautiful it is) is just how comfortable it feels so sink into it. It’s an oversized chair and the cushions on the sides really make it for me. I love it!! I’m already planning on ways to style it up through the seasons (different pillows, throws, etc.) and can’t wait to show you guys. More to come!!
