Update Your Entryway with a Bench.
We’ve been living in our home for more than six years now and it’s taken me exactly this long to add a bench to our entryway!
Let me back up a moment: Our entryway is small and narrow so we have a console table, mirror and ottoman down the hall from our front door but never had anything near the actual door. I added a basket a few years ago for shoes and hung an art pairing (my favorite from Minted!!) last year, and then called it a day.
Fast forward to last week when I spotted this gorgeous bench from McGee & Co during their winter tent sale that I simply couldn’t pass up. I had no idea where I’d put it but it was stunning and insanely discounted so I ordered it on a whim. As soon as it arrived, I realized it fit the wall by our door PERFECTLY and actually made the space feel complete. I hadn’t even realized what this space was missing until it arrived!
This particular bench is no longer available but I’ve rounded up some similar options at all price-points below.
Add a few throw pillows, hang some art above, and you have a perfect little setup for your entryway, mudroom or a blank hallway in your home. And it doesn’t have to cost much!
