My Favorite Finds From Serena & Lily

If you've followed me for any length of time, you've probably noticed that pieces from Serena & Lily are peppered throughout nearly every room in our home. Over the years, it's become one of my favorite places to shop because these items strike that perfect balance between classic and relaxed; the perfect modern coastal vibe that I love.

When I’m designing a room, I like to think about how it will feel years from now, not just what I love in the moment. I want our home to feel collected, put together, and lived in, and Serena & Lily has helped me to create exactly that. Many of these pieces have been with us through different seasons of life, and I love them just as much today as I did when they first arrived.

Driftway Dresser

Furniture is where I usually choose to invest because it's the foundation of a room. A beautiful dresser or chest can completely change the way a space feels, and if you choose timeless pieces from the beginning, they can move with you as your style evolves.

The Driftway Collection has been one of those investments for our home. The wrapped linen adds warmth and texture and keeps everything feeling relaxed, while the brass hardware gives each piece just enough refinement. They're substantial without feeling heavy, and they work beautifully with everything from crisp whites to layered neutrals. I own the dresser, bedside tables and chest in the “chalk” colorway but I also love the navy and light blue that they are available in!

This Dresser has been one of my favorite bedroom purchases because it instantly made the room feel more finished. I love that it brings texture into the space without relying on bold colors or busy patterns. The subtle woven detailing gives it so much character while still feeling incredibly versatile.

Functionally, it's just as impressive. The drawers are spacious enough for everyday storage, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect from a piece you'll have for years. I love styling the top with a ceramic lamp, fresh greenery, framed photos, and a few favorite coffee table books. It's one of those pieces that looks beautiful whether it's fully styled or kept simple. Also worth noting: the linen is treated so this dresser is durable! We’ve had zero issues with any of these pieces and they’ve held up beautifully over the years.

Driftway Chest

One of my favorite design tips is repeating finishes throughout your home without making everything feel overly matched. That's exactly why I added the Driftway Chest to our living room. It helps to create continuity from room to room while still allowing each space to have its own personality.

I especially love decorating this piece throughout the seasons. Whether it's layered with hydrangeas in the spring, pumpkins in the fall, or garland during the holidays, it always serves as a beautiful backdrop. It's practical storage disguised as beautiful furniture, and that's always a win in my book. A dresser is one item I use throughout my home — not just in the bedroom. We have one in our breakfast nook for art supplies and table linens, and this chest in our living room acts as functional toy storage for the kids.

Signature Lighting

Lighting is one of the easiest ways to completely transform a room. It's often the first thing your eye notices, and the right fixture instantly gives a space personality, which is why I nearly always recommend spending a little bit more on it. Serena & Lily does lighting exceptionally well because every fixture feels both timeless and unique.

I love incorporating natural materials like capiz shells, woven fibers, and soft finishes because they add texture while still keeping a room feeling light and airy.

Scallop Capiz Chandelier

The Scallop Capiz Chandelier is one of those pieces that always gets compliments and it’s also the very first thing that I bought for Ava’s bedroom when she was a baby. The layered capiz shells catch the light beautifully throughout the day, creating subtle movement and warmth without feeling overly glamorous.

I especially love it in a nursery because it feels playful while still being sophisticated enough to grow with the room. It's feminine without being overly sweet, which makes it a fixture I know I'll love for years.

Pescadero Chandelier

The Pescadero Chandelier anchors our dining room so beautifully. It's substantial enough to make a statement but simple enough that it doesn't compete with the rest of the room. Our dining room has actually had three chandeliers over the years. Nothing ever felt just right until I installed this one about five years ago and I honestly love it just as much today as I did back then.

I often get asked what this fixture is made out of and the surprising answer is that it’s wrapped in coconut shells! The frame is a beautiful white metal but the coconut shells are layered around each of the tiers and cast the prettiest light and shadows in the evening. I just love it so much.

Cordless Table Lamp

I honestly didn't realize how often I'd use this cordless lamp until it became part of our everyday routine. It's one of those small additions that makes a surprisingly big difference.

Whether we're eating dinner outside, entertaining friends on the patio, or simply in need of a little ambient lighting indoors, it moves wherever we need it. It's functional, beautiful, and one of those pieces guests always ask me about.

Breakfast Nook

One of my favorite spaces in our home is our breakfast nook because it's where everyday life happens. It's where we drink coffee in the mornings, gather for casual meals, and spend time together throughout the day.

Rather than making this area overly formal, I wanted it to feel bright, welcoming, and relaxed.

My exact marble table is no longer sold but I’ve linked a similar one (same size and top) above.

Paired with the bistro-style dining chairs, the entire room feels collected and effortless. It's one of those rooms that makes you want to slow down and stay a little longer, which is exactly the feeling I wanted to create.

Entertaining Favorites

I love having pieces throughout our home that are beautiful enough to display every day but practical enough to use when we're entertaining. Those are always the items that end up getting the most use.

The South Seas Bar Cart is one of my favorite styling pieces because it changes with the seasons. Sometimes it's stocked with glassware and entertaining essentials, while other times it's layered with coffee table books, candles, fresh flowers, and decorative objects.

It's incredibly versatile and works almost anywhere in the house. I think that's why I love how it isn't limited to one purpose. It adds personality while still being completely functional.

Cozy Corners

Some of my favorite Serena & Lily pieces aren't necessarily the largest or most dramatic. They're the pieces that make our home feel comfortable and lived in every single day.

This lounger has become one of everyone's favorite places to relax. Whether we're reading, enjoying a quiet afternoon, or simply taking a moment to unwind, it's incredibly comfortable while still looking beautiful in the room.

I always appreciate furniture that doesn't make you choose between comfort and style, and this piece is a perfect example of both.

La Jolla Baskets

Beautiful storage will always be one of my favorite decorating tricks. The La Jolla Baskets help keep everyday clutter tucked away while adding warmth, texture, and another natural element to the room.

They're perfect for blankets, toys, pillows, or anything else you want nearby but out of sight. I use baskets throughout our home because they make organization feel intentional rather than purely functional.

Outdoor Living

Our outdoor space has become such an extension of our home, especially during the warmer months. I wanted it to feel just as comfortable and inviting as our indoor living spaces, and these Serena & Lily pieces helped make that happen.

Pacifica Outdoor Sectional

The Pacifica Outdoor Sectional completely transformed our patio. The woven frame gives it that signature Serena & Lily look, while the deep cushions make it comfortable enough to spend hours outside with family and friends.

It's where we gather for summer evenings, weekend mornings with coffee, and everything in between. Outdoor furniture should invite you to actually use the space, and this sectional absolutely does.

Teak Umbrella

The Teak Umbrella is the finishing touch that pulls everything together. I love the warmth of the natural wood paired with the crisp white canopy because it complements the rest of the patio without overwhelming it.

Beyond looking beautiful, it also provides the shade we need to enjoy our outdoor space throughout the day. It's proof that even the most functional pieces can become part of the overall design.

One of the questions I get most often is whether Serena & Lily pieces are worth the investment, and my answer is always yes. Every piece I've shared here has become part of our everyday life, and they've continued to look beautiful season after season.

What I love most is that these aren't purchases I'll need to replace in a few years. Their timeless designs make it easy to mix them with new finds while keeping our home feeling cohesive. If you're considering adding Serena & Lily to your own home, these are the pieces I would recommend starting with. They're the ones I continue to love, style, and recommend year after year.
